Cooking Classes with Richard

New classes will be scheduled in the Fall.

*** Summer Update ***: There are no classes scheduled for the summer - if you are interested in taking one of the classes listed below we can arrange for a private session with a minimum of two students.

"Fresh Pasta & Toppings"

We are mixing this one up - Learn how to make fresh pasta with Claude and how to sauce it up with Richard. Nothing compares to the taste and texture of well-made fresh pasta. Claude will demonstrate the technique from mixing the dough to rolling and cutting it. Richard will demonstrate 2 different sauces which can top fresh or dried pasta: Caramelized Zucchini & Classic Carbonara

Schedule:

Class will run from Noon until 3:00pm - You will sample all the food that is prepared

Class Fees:

$50.00 tuition per student. A set of printed recipes will be provided

Space is limited to 6 students

"Italian & French Crepes"

Richard will demonstrate how to make two types of crepes: Italian (higher egg content) & French. You will learn the techniques of mixing the batters, making the crepes, and using them in three dishes: Florentine Crespelle Lasagna with Spinach & Ricotta; Rolled Crepes filled with Shellfish; and the classic flambéed dessert - Crepes Suzette.

$60.00 tuition per student. A set of printed recipes will be provided

If you would like to combine a class with a stay at the Inn, please view our packages, where you will find a special "Class & Stay" package. No discounts, promotions or coupons can be used for classes. Since class size is limited, make your reservation early to participate in the class of your choice. Class cancellation: The registration fee, when required, is non refundable. The tuition is refundable up to 72 hours before the class begins. There will be no refunds after the 72 hour deadline..
